Sanctuary Spiritual Stories

It was 1994, and I was on a spiritual journey in New Zealand. I just finished an amazing adventure, and I was adding it to my online newsletter for those who follow my travels. The phone rang, and as I answered it, my friend and fellow traveler Tamara sounded very excited. 

"The strangest thing just happened," Tamara said. "I walked into my kitchen and on the floor was a page of a letter. It was from Diane, a woman living on Norfolk Island, and it was addressed to Jennifer (another friend). The letter was obviously 1 page of a longer letter. Funny thing is, Jennifer has not been to my house since this letter was written, and I don't even know who Diane is. I can't imagine how it got here, but I think you need to go there."

Wow, I said, I don't know anything about that, but this does sound like my guides. Seems unlikely that I would go there since I'm going back to Houston in 11 days. But, stranger things have happened in my life, as you well know.

About 30 minutes later, the phone rang again. It was Jennifer, and she said, "Hey, Sandy, my friend Diane, who has been living on Norfolk Island, is visiting me right now. Do you want to meet up for a coffee?"

Stranger and stranger. I told her about the letter and the call from Tamara. I said I think we better meet up and discuss this. So we did. 

Jennifer, Diane and I met at a local coffee house, and Diane told me that the Norfolk Islanders are having a strange experience on the island. And, it's not just one person, but many people are seeing a vortex, and it seems to fade in and out. But there is a sense of urgency to everyone there. After several coffees and lots of chatting, I was inspired to ask when she was going back to Norfolk Island. She said in a couple of days. 

I told her that I would be happy to go to the island if the islanders wanted to pay for my plane ticket and provide me with a place to stay. I would work with the vortex and determine why they were seeing it. I would also do a free seminar for anyone who wants to attend to discuss integration work and conduct a psychic meditation and activation. While there, if anyone wanted to get a psychic reading from me, they could pay a nominal fee, and someone there could volunteer to schedule the readings. 

Jennifer assured me that she would present this idea to the people and let them know my travel schedule, but she said not to expect it to happen in such a short time. The islanders are on island time, and that means they don't act quickly. I told her that stranger things have happened, and if it is meant to be, it will happen. We agreed she'd let me know what they said when she got back to the island.
