A Major Leap of Faith

Christmas at Sanctuary -by Sandy Penny

"Christmas is coming and you want me to do what?" Sandy practically screamed at her guides.

As usual, they were completely calm as they said, "You have to quit your job."

"Quit my job? I am barely able to pay for everything now, and it's getting more difficult. I don't even have money for Christmas. I feel like I'm house poor, everything I make is going to pay for this house, and it's getting to be too heavy a burden."

The guides told Sandy that an event would happen at work, and that she would recognize it, and at that point, she should tell them she wants to quit working at the office and begin working at home. She needed to be an independent contractor in order for Spirit to have enough opportunities to funnel money to the house.

That totally blew Sandy's mind, and it was the biggest leap of faith she had ever considered. Her job was barely paying all the bills now, but she would follow her guidance and be watching for the event to happen.

Around Thanksgiving, the president of the company she worked for resigned his position to move to a different city and company. Sandy knew this was the event. She was clearly linked to the president as he had essentially stolen her away from the man who had hired her, the vice-president and marketing manager.

The vice-president called her into his office and said he wanted to be sure that she would be loyal to him, and that he fully expected to be the president by January. Sandy took this opportunity to tell him that she wanted to move into her own business, and she wanted to keep the work she was currently doing with the company, just to work at home beginning in January. He said he wasn't sure that's what the board would want, but he would check it out.

Life at Sanctuary continued with magic and miracles as its daily routine. Some of the regulars showed up to create Christmas for us. One man worked for a decorator, and they had excess Christmas decorations and several trees. Then J.W., another regular showed up with lots of lights and strung them inside and out. It became a very festive time that Sandy could not afford, but her children got to experience all that magic of the season. It was brilliant. Unforgettable.

Sandy was on pins and needles for the next few weeks, hearing nothing about their decision. It was pretty nerve-racking. But she continued to trust her guides and kept working and building psychic clients and design clients. It took a lot of energy for all that, but magic kept showing up.

The VP finally called her into his office right before Christmas and said after investigating several options, they wanted to stay with Sandy as she had actually created their publications department and had developed their profile in the industry. They were willing to continue with 80% of her salary and allow her the freedom to develop her business. That took a load off her mind and strengthened the bond with her guides. Since the work she had to do for the company only took up about 25% of her time, it gave her a lot of freedom. Now she just had to find some more clients.

As it turned out, that was not much of a problem. In addition to some new design clients, she added a series of psychic events to the house itinerary. There was a monthly channeling for about 20 people. She began to attract many past-life regression clients, so many that she tripled her price, and got even more clients than ever. She was certainly busy.

Paying the bills was finally getting easier. And if she had not followed her guidance, it wouldn't have happened in the same way. She might have kept struggling on the edge of financial disaster. All these events took place from Halloween to Christmas. Like a lifetime encapsulated in a couple of months.

The New Year

Many new people began to show up to live at Sanctuary and to attend events regularly. Sanctuary was thriving. A new year brought many changes and new awakeners.
